Film, Photography and Creative Research

We record and document community events and life stories of community members through short films, photography and digital stories. We incorporate story-telling, interviews and research from primary and secondary sources using a Deep Listening approach. We document the stories of community members and key stakeholders, responding to and building communities in the process.

Our projects draw on a framework of interdisciplinary research, from fields such as cultural studies, community development and creative practices. Through an integration of arts-based approaches, Narrative Inquiry and a Deep Listening methodology, our research and documentation projects are participative and based on respectful relationships.
